The idea of the foundation of this School goes back to 1992. We were the teachers of gymnasium classes. The curriculum included not only compulsory subjects but history of Arts, two foreign languages, decorative handicraft, elements of theatrics and chess. We have understood that it was necessary to start education when children are five years old or even early. This will make it possible to bring up and form the person who would feel itself comfortable in our informative world.

We have started to prepare children for school education as the “Academy of pre-school sciences” since 1994. The parents liked the style and quality of our education so they asked us to organize our own private school. Thus “Academy of pre-school sciences” turned into School “Athens”.

In 1997 Nursery school—Primary school “Athens” received the license № 111142. In August of 2002 the School again received licenses. Now our School exists as the Private school “Athens” (license № 318453).

Children who have come to “Academy of pre-school sciences” in 1994 are in the tenth form now.
